The Football Association investigated claims McBurnie made an ‘obscene gesture’ and have decided against reprimanding the Sheffield United forward.

“The FA has reminded Sheffield United’s Oli McBurnie of his responsibilities following attendance at the EFL Championship fixture between Cardiff and Swansea yesterday,” read an FA statement.

Former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville insisted it would be ‘a disgrace’ if McBurnie was charged.
